Q1)In the last line, what did the writer mean by suggesting that “he may have found more porcupines than rats?"
I think that the writer may think that Singapore defence force are divided into two groups which are rats and porcupines. Rats are for those who are scared and would scurry away at the sound of footsteps and are not brave enough to protect Singapore and raise their heads high. Porcupines are for those who are brave and strong enough to defend Singapore and warn those people who fails to protect the country and people who destroy it.
Q2) What’s worth giving up your life for?
I think what's worth giving up my life for is my loved ones, especially my parents. They have helped me throughtout my whole life and I am mostly proud of my mum. It is because she went through alot of pain just to give birth to me and kept feeding me when im a child. It is also important to treasure your loved ones deep inside your heart and never to forget about them. If you had caused a lot of troubles with your parents or other loved ones, you MUST not give up but continue with your life and continue to love them forever. When i grow up, I will treat my own family the same way as they treated me but with more care. I will also take care of them when they are old.

Q1) Why Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform?
Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform as the principal emphasises much on inculcating in their students with good habits such as using time prudently and not waste time leisurely.
Q2) Do you agree with this rule? Explain your answer.
Absolutely not. It is because the parents of the students gave instructions to their children to go and buy their on food at White Sands because they have no time to cook for them as they are busy working to support the family. By going home and changing out of the uniforms waste more time than going to the mall straightaway. The teachers were also asked by the principal to patrol the mall and catch the students in uniforms.Whereas, the students which were caught are given "in-house suspension" or detention.

Q1)What was Jack Neo's Vocation when he was serving the nation?
He was a quartermaster, then a platoon commander at an infantry unit and was posted to the Singapore Armed Forces' Music and Drama Company when he was serving the nation.
Q2)"Hardwork leads to success". To what extend do you agree with this statement?
I 100% agree in these statement because if we are working very hard, stay focus and diligently in our work, we could actually be a successful person. We would gain nothing if we are lack in focus or don't take our work seriously and wasting time doing something else. This would make us a failure and we do not want this to happen because this would make others think that you are a lazy and especially not a smart person. Just like in the article, Jack Neo is now a famous actor and this is because he never gave up in everything he do and always strive to do his best. The advice is to never give up in every kind of situation you are in because if you believe in yourself and take things seriously, you will gain victory in yourself and trust from your LOVED ones.

Q1) How did the teenagers trespass into Singapore Island Country Club?
ANS: In my opinion, the teenagers trespassed into Singapore Island Country Club but in an indirectly way. One of the teenagers said that they were drunk and walked into a forested area near
MacRitchie Reservoir. So, it means that they did trespass into the Singapore Island Country Club.
Q2) Is underage drinking correct? Explain your answer.
ANS:Teenagers these days think or feel that underage drinking is appropriate for them and also think that they are ready to drink alcohol at their age. However, I do not think it is appropriate at all. Underage drinking or even drinking itself has many disastrous consequences. Although it may allow you to feel happy and forget all your worries, it may, in fact, actually cause or damage your body and mind to be corrupted. For example, if you drink underage, you might be influenced to think that drinking alcohol is the only way for you to forget all your worries or run away from your problems. Also, it can cause all kinds of diseases such as liver disease. Hence, i feel that teenagers these days cannot control their intake of alcohol unlike those who are much older and wiser.Alcohol is addictive and it is expensive. When you are addicted to alcohol, you will continue buying and drinking it and it will cost you alot of money.
